Outside Resources

There were other websites that we may have used in class and other ones that we may not have used that I feel are important in helping me with my teaching caree.

1. Google Docs

I feel like this website is very useful for teaching.  With this website, a teachers presentation is not something that is seen exclusively for them.  Multiple can edit a presentation at the same time, making groupwork very convenient..

2. Edmodo

​​​I've seen this website used a few teachers.  It is almost like Facebook, except it is more geared for teachers to post things that contribute to their lessons.  Students can also have an accout as well.

​3. InstaGrok​

This website is a good study rescource for students.  It uses concept maps that show information in greater detail once the subject is clicked on.

4.  How Teachers Use Social Media in the Classroom to Beef Up Instruction​

This article was intersting because in decribes ways that certain social networks can help teachers with their classes.

5.  The Advantage of Google Doc in Education​

This article was intersting because it touched on some of the benefits of Google Docs, such as teachers being able to track their students' progress on their assignments.
